Challenge

To assess, develop and enable a strategy for two successful business units with separate operations undergoing a merger within a global group.

Action

Working with the Board, we delivered a strategy assessment using the Organisation Performance Model. Based on that assessment we developed a compelling vision, objective and goal; a set of integrated strategic choices and a few key success measures for the next year.

We then brought that strategy to life across the organisation by: designing the organisation structure; deploying the new strategy to 100% of employee work-plans; and defining the reward system, core competencies, and information / decision-making processes required to support excellent execution of the choices made.

Impact

Transformation to support the strategy was undertaken within a month of the choices being agreed.
